Hair By Polina ("we", "Polina") is a sole-trader hairdressing business operating a private home studio in Findon, Adelaide, South Australia (ABN 86 747 204 832). This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information.

What information we collect

We may collect the following personal information from you:

• Name, email address and phone number when you submit an enquiry form.
• Photos of your hair (current photo and inspiration photo) when you send them via the enquiry form on this website.
• Colour history information you voluntarily provide.

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to:

• Respond to your enquiry and recommend appropriate services.
• Prepare for and deliver your appointment.
• Communicate with you about your booking.

Photos and sensitive information

Photos you send via the enquiry form are transmitted to our business email address (hello@hairbypolina.com.au) using Resend, a third-party email delivery service. Photos are used only to assess your hair and plan your service. They are not shared publicly, sold, or used for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

If you consent to your result photos being shared on our Instagram or website, we will confirm this with you at your appointment.

Third-party services

We use Fresha (fresha.com) for online booking management. When you book through Fresha, their privacy policy applies to data collected through their platform. We use Resend to deliver enquiry form emails. No other third parties receive your personal information.

Data retention

Enquiry emails and photos are retained in our email inbox for as long as reasonably necessary to deliver your service and for up to 12 months thereafter, then deleted.

Your rights
